How to Play
Win the Duel
Reduce the opposing hero from 30 Health to 0. You can also win when your opponent surrenders. If both heroes reach 0 Health at once, the match is a draw.
Rounds and Mana
Rounds are global: Player A acts, Player B acts, then the next round begins.
At the start of your turn, gain one maximum Mana up to 10, refill your Mana, draw one card, and ready your minions.
In multiplayer, each turn has a 40-second limit. Opening hands contain 3 cards for the first player and 4 for the second, then the first turn draws as normal.
Your hand holds up to 10 cards. Drawing with a full hand burns the drawn card; an empty deck simply cannot draw.
Cards and Combat
Play cards from your hand by paying the blue Mana crystal shown in their top corner. Minions enter your board. Spells resolve their written effect and then leave play.
Minions normally cannot attack until their next turn. Select or drag a ready minion onto an enemy minion or hero to attack.
Minion combat is mutual: both minions deal their Attack to each other at the same time.
Direct attacks damage the enemy hero, but Taunt minions must be attacked first.
Board Rules
You may normally control up to 4 minions. Summoning effects can create one extra minion, for a maximum of 5.
You may have up to 2 Taunt minions and up to 3 Charge minions on your board.
Card Legend
3Mana cost - paid to play the card.
4Attack - damage dealt by a minion.
5Health - a minion is destroyed at 0.
Taunt - enemies must attack this before other targets.
ϟCharge - can attack on the turn it is played.
✦Divine Shield - prevents the first damage it would take, then breaks.
Card borders indicate rarity: Common, Rare, Legendary, and Mythic. Rarity does not change combat rules by itself.
Build a Deck
Every deck has exactly 20 cards. Common and Rare cards allow up to 2 copies of the same card. Legendary and Mythic cards allow 1 copy each; a deck can contain up to 3 Legendary cards and 1 Mythic card in total.
Useful Controls
Click a minion card to play it quickly, or drag it from your hand to the board. Click or drag a ready minion toward its target to attack. The small smiling button beside End Turn opens emotes for your opponent.
